Over the last twenty years I have designed innovative programs at museums and zoos. These cover the spectrum from public engagement through performance and workshop, teacher trainings and hundreds of hours teaching as part of Hawaii State Art Museum’s education team.
Full-length performed poem with original music and audience participation, Into the Red Forest was commissioned by The Contemporary Museum for their permanent David Hockney installation and ran for three years. More than 50 local schools were able to enjoy this original work presented in Hockney’s iconic environment.
Hawaii State Art Museum hosts All Together Now and We Got The Beat; here, preschoolers and early elementary students explore different types of drums.
